Samir and Raina Khanna are a happily married couple living in Melbourne until Samir's business troubles take him away for months at a time. Left alone, Raina loses her job and finds work at an airport cafe, where she meets Akash, a carefree young man who makes her laugh again. Akash slowly falls in love with her, without knowing she is married, and Samir's long absence and pride put the marriage under strain. The film is a gentle romantic drama about trust and loneliness rather than an action vehicle, which surprised audiences expecting a typical Salman Khan film. It was produced by Sohail Khan, who plays Akash, and was shot largely in Australia, with songs by Sajid–Wajid and a guest appearance by Preity Zinta.
