Hoshiyar (1985)

Hoshiyar ("clever" or "alert") is a 1985 Hindi film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, the Telugu filmmaker who made a string of Hindi hits with Jeetendra in the 1980s. Here Jeetendra is paired with Jaya Prada, one of his most frequent co-stars of the period, and shares the screen with Shatrughan Sinha. The film is part of the wave of Madras-made Hindi entertainers of the decade, known for colourful song picturisations, family emotion and fist-fights in equal measure.
