Alex Pandian is a cheerful rogue who will do almost anything for money. A dangerous gang that wants to pressure the chief minister into signing off on a shady deal hires him to kidnap the minister's daughter. Alex carries out the job, but the more time he spends with her, the less he wants to hand her over, and soon both of them are on the run from the gang. On the way he hides out with a friend whose house is full of sisters, which is the cue for Santhanam's broad comedy. Director Suraj, known for masala entertainers such as Padikathavan, built the film as a Pongal crowd-pleaser around Karthi's energy and his pairing with Anushka Shetty.
