After a mission ends in personal loss, a highly trained secret agent drops out of sight, taking a new identity and settling on an island in the Andamans, where nobody knows who he is. He wants nothing but quiet, and the title, "the man who does not like rain", hints at the scars he carries. But the island has its own bullies and its own injustices, and when the people around him are threatened he is drawn back into the violence he tried to leave behind. Vijay Antony plays the lead in the brooding, low-talk style familiar from his thrillers, with Sarathkumar in an important role. Director Vijay Milton, also a cinematographer by profession, gives the island setting a moody, rain-soaked look.
