Dishoom (2016)

Viraj Sharma, the biggest name in Indian cricket, disappears in a Gulf country on the eve of an India-Pakistan final. The Indian government sends Kabir Shergill, a tough, sardonic special officer, who is paired with Junaid Ansari, a cheerful, inexperienced local policeman who cannot believe his luck. With a ticking clock and very few leads, the mismatched pair race through deserts, souks and luxury hotels, tangle with a thief named Ishika and close in on a betting-connected villain played by Akshaye Khanna. Dishoom was directed by Rohit Dhawan, brother of Varun and son of comedy director David Dhawan, and much of it was filmed in Abu Dhabi. Akshay Kumar's brief comic cameo was one of the most talked-about parts of the film, and Pritam's soundtrack includes the hit 'Sau Tarah Ke'.
