Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna (1994)

Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna ("To live in love, to die in love") is a 1994 Hindi romance about young lovers determined to stay together whatever their families and society say. It is chiefly remembered today as the first film of Divya Dutta, who went on to become one of Hindi cinema's most respected character actors, paired here with Ravi Sagar, with Brij Gopal and Shafi Inamdar in support. The film follows the classic tragic-romance template of its era, with songs, family opposition and high emotion.
