Mother (1999)

Mother is a 1999 family drama directed by Saawan Kumar Tak, with Rekha in the title role. The film is notable for bringing back Randhir Kapoor and Rakesh Roshan in acting roles years after they had largely moved behind the camera, alongside Jeetendra. In the director's familiar style, it is an emotional melodrama of a mother's sacrifice, family rifts and reconciliation.
