Chandru drives an auto-rickshaw in Chennai and thinks he is the fastest man on three wheels. When he gets mixed up in the city's underground auto races, a wager with the menacing moneylender Bigilu goes badly wrong, and Chandru finds himself owing a fortune, with his auto, his pride and his romance with a feisty young woman all at stake. The only way out is to win the biggest race of all. Oram Po ("move aside") was the debut film of the husband-and-wife writer-director team Pushkar and Gayathri, who later made Vikram Vedha. It is a colourful, chaotic comedy soaked in the slang and street life of Chennai, with Lal stealing scenes as the villain and G. V. Prakash Kumar's peppy score.
