Dhilluku Dhuddu (2016)

Dhilluku Dhuddu is a 2016 Tamil horror comedy directed by Rambhala, starring comedian-turned-hero Santhanam. When a plan involving the heroine's family leads everyone to an old bungalow with a sinister reputation, Santhanam's brash hero and a bunch of comic hangers-on discover that the place is genuinely haunted. Most of the fun comes from Santhanam's one-liners and the panic of his companions in the face of the spirits. The film was a hit and led to a sequel, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 (2019).
