Manam (2014)

Nageswara Rao, a wealthy businessman, has never got over the death of his parents in an accident when he was a boy. One day he meets a young man and a young woman who are their exact likenesses, and becomes convinced they are his parents reborn. Meanwhile an elderly man recognises in Nageswara Rao someone from his own past. What follows is a playful, tender puzzle about reincarnation in which fathers can be younger than their sons and old loves get a second chance. Manam ("us") brought together three generations of the Akkineni family: Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. It was ANR's final film, released months after his death in January 2014, and became a much-loved hit, winning the Filmfare award for Best Telugu Film.
