Devadas has a rare medical condition: from childhood he must drink 90 ml of alcohol three times a day, or he falls ill. He has learned to live with it, but when he falls in love with Suvasana, a doctor from a family that strictly forbids alcohol, he has to hide his daily dose from her and her household. When the truth comes out, the romance collapses, and he also finds himself in conflict with a local strongman, played by Ravi Kishan. The film is a mass entertainer built on this unusual comic premise, with Kartikeya, who had broken through with RX 100, in the lead, Neha Solanki as the heroine and songs by Anup Rubens.
