Ramgarh Ke Sholay (1991)

Ramgarh Ke Sholay is a 1991 comedy spoof of Sholay in which Amjad Khan returns as the dacoit Gabbar Singh, the role that made him a legend, to terrorise the village of Ramgarh again. Taking on him is a team of look-alikes of film stars, led by Vijay Saxena as an Amitabh Bachchan double and Kishore Bhanushali as a Dev Anand double, who play the parody for laughs, mimicking their originals' mannerisms and famous lines. It is a low-budget novelty film that depends on its gimmick, and is a curiosity for anyone who loves Sholay and Hindi film nostalgia.
