Yaman leads a clan that lives deep in the forest and survives by stealing, following rules and rituals of its own. When the clan's affairs bring him to the city, his path crosses that of a carefree young man who has fallen for a girl and will follow her anywhere, and soon the two are caught up in a kidnapping, a chase and a string of misunderstandings. The film is a light, offbeat adventure comedy that leans on the oddball world of the clan and on Vijay Sethupathi's appetite for unusual parts; he turns up in several different looks over the course of the story. It also marked the Tamil debut of Telugu actress Niharika Konidela, from the Chiranjeevi family, opposite Gautham Karthik.
