Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016)

Ram is a quiet, work-obsessed doctor whose marriage to Seetha is falling apart. His mother Satyabhama, a widow, prays for help, and her late husband Bangarraju, a colourful village charmer who loved life and women, is sent back as a spirit to set things right. Visible only to her, he begins coaching his son in romance, but he also discovers that his own death was no accident and that the people who planned it are now after his son. Nagarjuna plays both father and son, and his teasing chemistry with Ramya Krishnan was the heart of the film. A Sankranti release in 2016, it became one of the biggest hits of his career and was followed by the sequel Bangarraju (2022).
