Retta Thala (2025)

Retta Thala ("two heads") is a Tamil action thriller starring Arun Vijay, with Siddhi Idnani as the female lead and Kris Thirukumaran as director. The title points to its central idea of a man with two faces, and the film was promoted on Arun Vijay playing a dual role, a brooding, physical part of the kind he has made his own since Thadam and Kuttram 23. Expect a gritty, crime-tinged story of identity, betrayal and violence rather than a light entertainer. It is one of Arun Vijay's recent star vehicles and a good pick for fans of his hard-edged screen persona.
