Adam Joan Pothen is a wealthy plantation owner from Mundakayam in Kerala, haunted by personal loss. When his little daughter is abducted in Scotland, where his family has ties, he flies there and begins searching on his own, soon realising that the kidnapping is connected to a satanic cult operating behind respectable faces. With little help from the authorities, Adam must face the cult and its rituals to bring his child home. Adam Joan was the directorial debut of screenwriter Jinu V. Abraham and was shot largely in Scotland, giving the Malayalam thriller an unusual setting. Prithviraj leads, with Bhavana and Narain in key roles.
