Virodhi (2011)

Jayadev is a journalist who has spoken out against violence by all sides. When a group of Naxalite guerrillas abduct him, he is marched through the forest as a hostage, and the long days of walking become a debate between his convictions and theirs about the state, poverty and armed struggle. Virodhi ("the opponent") is a serious, dialogue-driven Telugu film by G. Neelakanta Reddy, director of the acclaimed Show, and gave actor Srikanth one of the most thoughtful roles of his career. It is closer to an art-house political drama than to a commercial action film.
