Avatharam (2014)

Avatharam is a devotional fantasy from Kodi Ramakrishna, the director best known for Ammoru and Arundhati, films about divine and supernatural battles against evil. A young woman, played by Radhika Kumaraswamy, is targeted by a sorcerer and malevolent spirits, and the divine power of the goddess takes form to defend her. Bhanupriya appears in an important role. As in Kodi Ramakrishna's other films in the genre, the story leans on visual effects, ritual, songs of devotion and a climactic clash between good and evil.
