Ganapathi has a secure government job and a younger brother already married, yet every proposal he receives falls through, to the despair of his family and the amusement of everyone else. A marriage bureau seems to offer hope, and he meets a lively young woman there, but he also begins to suspect that the business of matchmaking is not entirely honest. Aa Okkati Adakku ("don't ask that one thing") marked a return to comedy for Allari Naresh after a run of serious roles, taking its title from a 1992 comedy by his father, E. V. V. Satyanarayana. Jamie Lever, daughter of Johnny Lever, appears in her Telugu debut.
