Anil and Ananya, two young people from very different families, meet and fall in love in Hyderabad. Both have seen the cracks in their parents' marriages, so instead of rushing into a wedding they decide to move in together secretly, to see whether their love can survive ordinary life. The arrangement brings joy, irritation and difficult truths, while their families have no idea. Anthaka Mundu Aa Taruvatha ("before and after that") is a gentle, thoughtful romantic drama by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, known for Grahanam and Ashta Chamma. It marked Eesha Rebba's debut as a heroine, opposite Sumanth Ashwin, and Madhubala returned to Telugu cinema in a supporting role. It was well received by critics.
