Aakanksha (1993)

Aakanksha ('ambition' or 'longing') is a 1993 Hindi film directed by Dinkar Chowdhary, with an unusual cast of strong character actors: Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Pankaj Kapur and Om Puri, with Archana Joglekar as the female lead. It is a small production, and its main appeal lies in seeing these respected performers share the screen in a story of ambition, conflict and its consequences.
