Aame Athadaithe (2019)

Aame Athadaithe ("if she were he") is a 2019 Telugu film directed by K. Suryanarayana, starring newcomers Haneesh and Chirasree. As the title suggests, the story plays on gender roles, asking how a woman's life and choices would change if the world treated her as a man, and it is told as a modest social drama with romance and family conflict. It is a low-budget production with a largely new cast.
