Aatagallu (2018)

A successful film director's wife is found murdered, and the evidence quickly points at him. A sharp and fiercely competitive lawyer takes the case and is determined to see him convicted, while the director insists he is innocent. As the trial unfolds, the two men play a game of moves and countermoves in and out of court, and the truth about the killing turns out to be more twisted than either side admits. Aatagallu (players) is a courtroom and investigation thriller directed by Paruchuri Murali, who had made Pedababu and Andhrudu. It pits Nara Rohit against Jagapathi Babu, who by then had reinvented himself as a commanding character actor and villain in Telugu cinema.
