Fateh Singh is a happy-go-lucky constable in the Punjab Police, more interested in getting by than in solving crimes. When Pooja, a by-the-book officer from Canada, arrives in Punjab on a training programme, Fateh is put in charge of looking after her. Their styles could not be more different, and their joint efforts on a case produce chaos, slapstick and plenty of arguments before a grudging respect grows between them. The sequel brings back Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa with director Anurag Singh, but tells a fresh story with new characters under the old names, reversing the first film's journey by bringing the Canadian to Punjab. It was another major hit in Punjabi cinema and confirmed the Diljit-Neeru pairing as one of its most popular.
