Naga Shakthi (2011)

Naga Shakthi ("serpent power") is a 2011 Kannada devotional fantasy directed by Om Sai Prakash, a prolific maker of family and devotional films. Ramkumar, Shivakumar and Chandrika lead the cast. The story draws on the popular tradition of the snake goddess and the naagin, with a family threatened by evil people, divine intervention and the vengeful power of the serpent at its centre. Like others of its type, it combines devotion, melodrama and special-effects set pieces.
