Acharya (2022)

Dharmasthali is a sacred temple town whose people live by tradition and medicine from the forest, until a greedy gangster and his political backers move in to grab its land and resources. Acharya, a stranger with a violent revolutionary past, arrives in the town and begins to take apart the gang. A long flashback reveals his connection with Siddha, a young man raised in Dharmasthali who fought for it before him. Acharya is notable as the first film in which Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan share the screen in full-length roles. Despite the star power, it was a box-office failure on release in April 2022.
