Vishy is a cheerful Mumbai hustler who falls for Khushi and lives by small cons and big fights. His exact double, A. J., is a ruthless enforcer for a gangster in Bangkok, whose boss's sister Marina is obsessed with him. When A. J.'s enemies start hunting for him, Vishy and the people he loves get caught in the crossfire, and the two men's paths finally meet. Prabhu Deva made the film after his Hindi hits Wanted and Rowdy Rathore, and gave it the same mix of over-the-top action, comedy and dance numbers. Ajay Devgn plays both roles, and Anandaraj, a veteran Tamil villain, appears as the gangster Xavier. It drew mixed reviews but found an audience for its action.
