Adavi Ramudu (2004)

Adavi Ramudu comes from the early stage of Prabhas's career, a few years before Chatrapathi made him a mass star. He plays the title role opposite Aarti Agarwal, one of the leading Telugu heroines of the period, under director B. Gopal, known for big action films with Balakrishna. The film follows the familiar shape of a 2000s Telugu masala picture, with romance, comedy from Brahmanandam, songs and fights against oppressive villains. Its title is shared with the famous 1977 N. T. Rama Rao film, though this is a different story. It circulates in Hindi as The Strong Man Baadal.
