When a young woman vanishes without trace, her disappearance sets off more than one search. A former police officer with a troubled past and a private investigator work the case from different directions, each uncovering pieces of a puzzle that links the missing girl to crime, corruption and people who are not what they seem. Adrishyam, 'the invisible', was directed by Zac Harriss and made simultaneously in Malayalam and in Tamil, where it is called Yugi, with some changes of cast between versions. Joju George and Narain lead the Malayalam version, with Shine Tom Chacko and Sharaf U Dheen in support. The film keeps its cards close to its chest, cutting between parallel investigations so that the audience only gradually sees how the threads connect.
