A biotechnology firm unveils its proudest achievement: real dinosaurs grown from tissue in the lab and shown off to the press as a wonder of science. The demonstration goes wrong, the animals break loose, and soon raptors and larger beasts are rampaging through the streets of Los Angeles. A firefighter played by Treat Williams races against time and the monsters to rescue his teenage daughter, who was at the launch, while the company tries to cover up what it has unleashed. Age of Dinosaurs is a low-budget creature feature in the tradition of quickly made monster films, with Ronny Cox as the company's boss. Expect computer-generated chases, cheesy dialogue and plenty of creature attacks rather than scientific realism.
