Agent Gopi (1978)

Agent Gopi is a 1978 Telugu spy thriller starring Krishna, who popularised the secret-agent hero in Telugu cinema with Gudachari 116, and Jaya Prada as the heroine. Directed by K. S. R. Das, a specialist in fast-paced action and cowboy films, it follows Agent Gopi on a mission against a criminal gang, with disguises, gadgets, fistfights and songs in the style of the era's spy capers. It belongs to the run of agent films that made Krishna one of the leading action stars of his time.
