Aisa Yeh Jahaan (2015)

Aisa Yeh Jahaan is a 2015 Hindi drama directed by Biswajeet Bora, from Assam, starring Palash Sen, lead singer of the band Euphoria, and Ira Dubey as a couple who have moved from Assam to Mumbai. Their busy, consumer-driven urban life leaves little room for their young daughter, and the film contrasts this with the green, slower world of the north-east they left behind. Its themes are environmental and familial rather than dramatic, and the film was promoted as an eco-conscious production.
