AK-47 (2004)

AK-47 is a 2004 Hindi action drama directed by Raam Shetty, with Om Puri as a principled police officer and newcomer Aditya Singh as the young lead. The story pits the law against the Mumbai underworld, with the hero drawn into the conflict and forced to choose sides as gangsters threaten the people he cares about. Om Puri's gruff, honest cop gives the film its moral centre. It is a modest underworld action film of the early 2000s.
