Alludugaru Vachcharu ('the son-in-law has arrived') is a 1999 Telugu romantic family drama directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty, a filmmaker known for popular family entertainers in the 1990s. Jagapathi Babu, then one of Telugu cinema's leading family heroes, stars alongside Abbas, the Tamil heart-throb of Kadhal Desam, with Kausalya and Heera as the heroines. The story turns on love, a marriage alliance and the arrival of a son-in-law into a household full of expectations, mixing romance, comedy and family emotion, with Brahmanandam among the comedians. It is a typical late-1990s Telugu family film.
