American Daylight (2004)

American Daylight is a 2004 English-language romantic drama directed by Roger Christian, with Nick Moran and Koel Purie in the leads and Vijay Raaz and Gulshan Grover in support. Moran plays a man in America who gets to know a young woman at an Indian call centre through her late-night calls; for her the conversations happen through the night, for him in daylight, which gives the film its title. As the long-distance romance grows, trouble in her life in India puts their relationship to the test. It was one of the first films to use the outsourcing boom as the backdrop for a love story.
