In a Tamil village, a big family of brothers and their children dream of living together under one roof again, and decide to build a house on their ancestral land. The project brings out everything families usually keep buried: pride, money worries, a quarrel between the brothers, and an outsider with an old grudge who sees a chance to break them. Gautham Karthik plays the young man who tries to hold the clan together, with Cheran as the eldest brother and Shivathmika Rajashekar, daughter of Telugu star Rajasekhar, in her Tamil debut. Nandha Periyasamy's film is a traditional rural family drama with crowded festive scenes, emotion and a few fights, in the spirit of the Tamil joint-family films of the 1990s.
