Description

Anari ("the simpleton") is a 1975 Hindi film directed by Asit Sen, known for sensitive dramas such as Mamta and Safar. It stars Shashi Kapoor with Sharmila Tagore and Moushumi Chatterjee, and is a family drama with romance and songs typical of the mid-1970s. It should not be confused with the 1959 Raj Kapoor classic Anari or the 1993 Venkatesh film of the same name.
