The father is a lovable, fun-loving man who has never taken life too seriously, and his son is earnest and serious, the opposite in every way. The son is often embarrassed by his father, who in turn wants him to find happiness. Their arguments, romances and adventures play out as family comedy, with Tabu and Rimi Sen as the heroines. The mood turns when the family crosses dangerous enemies and both men, in their own styles, rise to the fight. Chiranjeevi plays both father and son, mixing comedy and action in the mode of his popular family entertainers. It was directed by Srinu Vaitla, who went on to make a series of big comedy hits.
