Andha Kanoon (1983)

As a boy, Vijay saw his family destroyed by three criminals who walked free because the law could not touch them. Now grown, he hunts them one by one, while his sister Durga, a police inspector, is determined to catch him and uphold the law. Their paths cross with Jan Nisar Akhtar Khan, a forest officer who was wrongly jailed for a murder and has his own score to settle with the same men. A remake of the Tamil hit Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Andha Kanoon was Rajinikanth's Hindi debut and a major box-office success, with Amitabh Bachchan in a powerful extended role. Its most remembered song is 'Rote Rote Hansna Seekho'.
