Gautham has been blind since birth but is cheerful and quick-witted, and he falls for Netra, a doctor who does not know that he is blind. After an eye transplant gives him his sight, his life seems to be on the right track, until he starts experiencing strange visions tied to the previous owner of his eyes, and he becomes entangled with a ruthless gangster. The film shifts from romantic comedy in the first half to crime thriller in the second. Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel, who had earlier been paired in the hit Kumari 21F, lead the cast, with Rajendra Prasad in a comic supporting role. It was the debut of writer Veligonda Srinivas as director.
