Akash has lost his fortune in the financial crash, and Kiara has just learned that her fiancé has betrayed her. Both decide to end their lives and, by chance, choose the same night and the same bridge in New York. After their attempts go comically wrong, the two strangers make a pact: they will postpone dying until New Year's Eve, twenty days away, and spend the time doing everything they always wanted to do. Their road trip takes them from New York to Las Vegas and San Francisco, and inevitably towards each other. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Anjaana Anjaani paired Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra for the first time in a lead romance, and Vishal-Shekhar's songs, including 'Tujhe Bhula Diya' and 'Anjaana Anjaani', were big hits.
