Govinda plays a carefree young man who falls in love with a spirited girl, played by Raveena Tandon, whose father, played by Kader Khan, is a blustering gangster with big pretensions. To win her, and to outwit her father and a rival suitor, the hero and his friends turn to disguises and ever more absurd plots. Named after the hit song from Dulhe Raja (1998), which also paired Govinda and Raveena, the film is a broad comedy of the kind Govinda and Kader Khan made famous, filled with slapstick, wordplay and Johnny Lever's clowning. Anu Malik composed the songs. It is undemanding fun for fans of 1990s and early-2000s Govinda comedies.
