Anokhi Raat (1968)

Anokhi Raat ("an extraordinary night") is a 1968 Hindi drama directed by Asit Sen, starring Sanjeev Kumar, in one of his early leading roles, with Zaheeda and Aruna Irani. Much of the story is set over a single rain-swept night in which characters from different stations of life are thrown together and their secrets and sorrows come out. It is best remembered for its music, one of the last scores by composer Roshan, who died before the film's release; Mukesh's song Oh Re Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Mein remains a classic.
