Antony (2023)

Antony once lived by violence, and one of his killings left a little girl without a father. Years later fate brings that girl, Ann Maria, now a hot-headed young woman training as a boxer, into his care. She hates him, and he carries his guilt quietly, but when old enemies from both their pasts come after them, the two are forced into an uneasy alliance that slowly becomes a family. Veteran Joshiy, one of the most successful directors of Malayalam mass cinema, reunited much of the team from his 2019 hit Porinju Mariam Jose, including Joju George, Nyla Usha and Chemban Vinod Jose. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the boxer, and the film mixes church-town drama with large action set pieces.
