Aparadhi (1992)

Aparadhi ('the criminal') is a 1992 Hindi action drama directed by K. Ravi Shankar, starring Anil Kapoor, then one of the biggest stars of Hindi cinema, with Vijayashanti, the 'Lady Amitabh' of Telugu cinema, in one of her few Hindi roles, and Shilpa Shirodkar. Anupam Kher is also in the cast. The story follows a man pushed outside the law and labelled a criminal, while a determined woman confronts him and the corrupt powers behind his fall, leading to the usual reckoning of the period's action dramas.
