Apne Begaane (1989)

Apne Begaane ('our own become strangers') is a 1989 Hindi film whose title sums up its theme: the betrayal of family bonds, as relatives and loved ones turn against each other over money, pride or misunderstanding, before the truth brings a reckoning. The soundtrack features playback singers Manna Dey and Mahendra Kapoor. Little else about the film is well documented.
