Arakshaka (2012)

Arakshaka is a Kannada psychological thriller from veteran director P. Vasu, built around Upendra, an actor known for offbeat, mind-bending roles. The story moves between a police investigation and the troubled mind of its central character, and the film keeps the audience guessing about what is real and what is imagined. Ragini Dwivedi plays the female lead. It marked a change of pace for Vasu, better known for family dramas and the horror hit Apthamitra, and gives Upendra the kind of layered, unpredictable part his fans enjoy.
