Archana is a schoolteacher in a Kerala village, 31 and still unmarried, and the subject of endless gossip and a long line of failed marriage proposals. When a match is at last fixed and the wedding preparations get under way, a sudden crisis threatens to wreck it all, and Archana has to decide how much she will put up with to meet everyone's expectations. Directed by debutant Akhil Anilkumar, the film is a gentle comedy-drama about a woman's dignity, small-town pressure and arranged marriage, carried by Aishwarya Lekshmi, known for Mayaanadhi, Varathan and Gargi. Veteran Indrans and Ramesh Pisharody add warmth and humour.
