Arjuna Phalguna (2021)

Arjun and his friends are unemployed young men in a village in the Godavari districts, loyal to each other and to the village elders, with no job and no future. When one of them needs money urgently to save a family farm, they agree to transport a consignment that turns out to be ganja, and a simple trip becomes a chase across the state with police and smugglers on their tail. The film mixes rustic comedy and friendship with a road-thriller second half. Sree Vishnu leads the group and Naresh plays a village elder. Released at the end of 2021, it was a modest film more praised for its local flavour than for its plot.
