Description

Aulad ("offspring") is a 1980s family melodrama starring Jeetendra with Sridevi and Jaya Prada, the two heroines who shared the screen with him in many hits of that decade. The story centres on a child and the two women whose lives are bound up with him, building to emotional confrontations about motherhood, duty and sacrifice. It is typical of the domestic dramas the trio made in the period, often remakes of South Indian films, with songs, tears and a strong focus on family values.
